Event Overview

On 30th April 2025, Kenya Space Agency (KSA) Staff joined Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) for a tree-planting exercise at the RSRG Arboretum, aiming to plant 1,000 trees at the institution. This initiative supports the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign, which seeks to achieve 30% national forest cover in Kenya by 2032. Additionally, the KSA Team led by Col. Robert Oktoi, Deputy CEO of the Malindi Space Center, paid a courtesy visit to DeKUT's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri.
